I had prematched in a program. I recently got a message from them that my backgroung check from India is taking unusually long , as my name is very common in India and things are done manually there, anyone with the same problem..

you talking about embassy people doing back groud check on ya? what visa are you applied. is it same as security clearance? i hear that for security clearance specific community is targeted. Is it so with you? it is usally for H! people, do they do for j1 also? thank you for your time. can you give your email for your help.
