guys,just like license for illinois,michigan states..does NJ state also need the license.......do we have to apply for it?

I donot think you need license for first 2 years in NJ, howevevr please check with the NJ medical licensure board, the licensure process takes atleast 90 days, please update your fcvs profile and it will help.

my program takes care of it for us.

in june 2009 they register me for the first year with state medical board.

no need to have individual license for the first year in NJ, so relax.

then for PGY2 and 3, my program will help me obtain a training license, at that time they need all the paperwork like verification of medical education and others.

my program will begin license paperwork at the end of 2009.
