I am 38 and I have a few friends who are older than me. don't get discouraged by your age. You are still v. young!!

I just read about age's limits for residency.
Do you know something about it ?
Are you interested in residency ?
I thing I am also "old" ....

no age is just the number do not worry just do what u really wannna do do not discourage by others???????? ok,,,,,be happy and sit down reading books again????? ok,,,,, i am 41 appearing in step 1 ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

not much of the age but the length of time you've been out of Med school.. you can be 50 but if you just graduated last year, that's fine. If you've been out of clinical or medical related work for a couple of years.. it counts against you.

WATS MORE IMPORTANT THAN AGE IS THE NUMBER OF YEARS BETWEEN THE YEAR OF GRADUATION TILL THE YEAR FOR APPLYING FOR THE MATCH
SET ASIDE FROM U R SCORES..LONGER THE GAP HARDER TO MATCH IN THE RESIDENCY DESIRED AND HARDER TO MATCH IN THE COMPETITIVE HOSPITALS. IF UR NOT LOOKING FOR THIS THEN I DONT THINK ANYONE WILL HAVE A PROBLEM U WILL GET RESIDENCY AS LONG AS U ARE ECFMG CERTIFIED
