Ask permission from the SP and lower one side of the gown at a time. Once you examine one side, raise the side lowered, then lower the other side and repeat

yes, you may expose the bra one side at a time. If the CC makes it apppropriate to feel the left ventricular PMI, place your hand below the left bra near where the breast meets the chest. Try to do this without touching the breast if possible
