from the other posts that i have read basically you must have had significant research or work experience in path..... the requirements for scores are pretty lax but since the number of spots are too few they usually take people with the experience i listed above... but you should research the programs to find out

they usually try to make sure that u hv genuine interest in the field that is y the experience is weighed heavily. but u can have the slightest experience even as a volunteer in some path lab, all u need is the spirit. from my experience, its just a matter of convincing them cos those with path residencies at home too go unmatched at times. baseline, if u really want it, u will get it.
