Oasis trick for step 1 - carolina

Hi all,

I'm new in the forum but I'm amazed to see how pleople encourage each other. I'm on my way for step 1 but it's being pretty difficult for me since I have a daughter and another on its way... Fortunately I don't have to work so I just have to study, but I've been preety lazy tough...
Anyway, I need to know a couple of things: 1) what is "Oasis trick"?, 2)What is a good grade to pass the step 1?, for example, comparing to percentages of correct questions, how much do I need to pass it?, 3)Are the USMLE grades really, really important for the match?

1. About oasis trick, read this:

Once you check your status and it says your score is reported, try it. It will let you know if you pass or not, before you get your report by mail.

2. I think any score over 85 is a good one. Over 90, that will be wonderful.

3. The score is the very very important, if not the most important, I think.
