any suggestions for this..
i cant make eye contact for long.. i have tried a lot of things..

you mean for CS? i don't think it has to be for long, just do it frequently. look down to your notes when you can't look at the patient anymore, then quickly look up again. you don't want to force it and make it look like you're staring either...

Or try looking at their forehead instead of the eyes. they won't be able to tell the difference, it will seem that you're looking them in the eyes.

ok thanks for the input rei.. i tried the forehead thing.. but that also didnt work.. i heard its really important to look into the patient's eyes when hes talking or we r talking..
so just scared..

as ur enter shake ur hands, make a good eye contact as u introduce urself, then move on as u do in ur day to day practice. they are actors, u too go with it. later whilist u are expressing empathy try to be natural, look at the patient rest u should be fine. U have mastered 1, ck.
