ONLY INDICATION TO GIVE TIG IN TETANUS:

dirty wound AND less then 3 doses of tetanus given in past.

try to draw 2X2 table :
with wound dirty & clean on left side
and more then & less then 3 tetanus given in past

best way to remeber tetanus immunizn

thanks harry, i didnt know the 24 hr thing. Is there any other indication for td depending on duration of wound
