5 yr old boy is brought to the office by his mother due to episodes of blinking and indifference to surrounding. he cant remember anything after episodes. mutiple episodes whole day long. school work has sufferred as well. dx?

can sombebody plz tell me what is the dx here? uw gives absence seizure but i think its partial seizure due to post-ictal state. can somebody plz clarify. thank you so much for all the help.

There is no mention about post-ictal state in the question. The kid just didn't know the episode. That is not post-ictal confusion. There is also no partial symptom like minor motor movement or sensory changes before going unconcious. Complex partial must have some of them.
