shri, capillaries have the largest luminal cross-sectional area but their wall cross sectional area is so small cos they lack muscle, so the ratio of wall cross-sectional area to lumen cross- sectional area would be so small.this is my understanding.

answer given as arterioles..........why not small arteries??????????????? arteries have thick muscular wall than arterioles no?

the aorta has the lowest cross sectional area,but when asked about ratio the arteries has the highest ratio of cross section to lumen

capillaries has the smallest luminal area,but cross sectional area highest
