Hi... Im worried abot the many rumors that takin exam in jun from india may affect our scores ....Is this true...
Is there imgs out there who have appeared for step 1 last june and have scored well ...pls clarify this doubt as im takin step 1 in Jun .

No it will not affect your score. These rumours are out because lots of AMGs take their exam during that period and people think their percentile score would b affected by their performance. But the fact is that the two digit score is no more a percentile score(since 1999), it just reflects ur three digit score as it is easier to read and correlate for some program directors.

Bhupesh....thanks alot for ur encouraging reply... That has eased my tension a lot....a lot of people in chennai keep saying these rumours and i have no idea about where to clarify this as i plan to take the exam on Jun 20..
