this year people are more passive observer then usual
its not like people are not getting ivs but they are not posting it
but it doesnt mean people like us should lose hope
as people with good scores will be invited by all programs but can do residency at only one place
so dont worry everyone will get ivs just wait

Harlem Hospital acknowledgement. Has anyone received this email or not ?
it was sent today around 6.15 am

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest and email(s) requesting further
information about the Harlem Hospital Psychiatry Residency Program.

At this time, my staff and I have begun to review ERAS applications.
I would like to take the opportunity to answer some questions commonly
asked by candidates. We accept both recent US grads and IMG's and
have no requirement about clinical training in the US. We have no
"cut off" for USMLE scores -- though candidates who have passed all
"Steps" in fewer than 3 attempts are favored. We also sponsor J1 and
H1B visas for applicable candidates accepted to the program.

We will begin to interview ERAS applicants on Tuesdays and Fridays
between October and January. Invitations for select candidates will
be sent in a separate notification.

In the meantime, I wish you the best of luck in the 2009-2010 "Match"
Season and would appreciate to hear from you again about any updates
to your ERAS application such as new publications or accolades.

Sincerely Yours,

James Mcknight, MD
