hey guys need ur help-mistake in caf - harsh

Actually i made a mistake in my CAF(common application form)..
In the section of CAF where we have to mention exams i forgot to mention that i intend to take step3 in november of 2009..
i wish to mention that in my CAF , but as i already submitted it and the programs have downloaded my application i am in a dilemma.What should i do now??
is there any way out??

I had this terrible problem last year, and it really cost me (I am not suggeting that it will you) as I have really made big mistakes in my hurry. I tried to send my resume to ERAS hoping it would rectify the matter but unfortunately it didn't.. My personal opinion if you care for it is Step III isn't a big deal, I mean most if not all programs expect you to take that during your residency not before, so I wouldn't worry about it.

don't worry..it does not matter..in a way its a blessing in disguise..
coz u may have applied to j1 programs as well..
and anyway what concerns them is your result in step 3..if availabe by nov end or dec release tht score..it wont be the basis for not sending an iv to you..good luck.

i have already made automated transcipt..so as soon as i get the score it l reach the programs..bt wat i m concerned is..step3 favouring programs wont consider my application...???

no nothing like tht..there are a handful of progs tht sponser only h1..and the number of programs tht sponser only j1 outnumber such programs..and suppose ur called for an iv in oct..obviously you have enough time to finish s3 and u can let them know..if u ask me..it wont make any difference.

i dont think you need to do that..coz this isnt an important update or anything..wait for ur score..
and besides i don't think it will help..
