Nurses are working as Primary Care Providers - liam
#1
Too many well qualified IMGs/FMGs here can't get training and license, meanwhile nurse practitioners (no offense), some may be good, are working as providers. When I take my daughter to her peds, I make sure she's seen by a medical doctor, not by NPs of DNPs (Doctor of Nursing). Good luck to all those wanting to get into primary care (FM, IM, Peds).

That has an upside too. That means there is room for many primary care doctors. I am sure you all know this.

NO, I think they are expanding platforms for Nurses and limiting FM practitioners to some complex cases only.
(they'll diminish FM seats eventually)
