understanding what the limiting plate is - axeon73

I'm trying to figure this out, is it just the hepatocytes that immediately surround the portal tract structures? So it's like you have a tube for the three vessels in the portal tract, then a single layer of cells encircles this tube, and this is the limiting plate? I guess in histology the vessels aren't going to be grouped together like this, so then the limiting plate would be a tight region around the portal tract?

Limiting plate: layer of hepatocytes surrounding each portal triad and separating it from the surrounding sheets of hepatocytes.

thanks for the definition, really helpful, especially the second link for the pathology atlas! wish my school would just use a book with pictures instead of these slides with no labels at all, because we're all blindly guessing what things are and don't learn a thing.
