boy with learning problems. if he's supposed to have ADD, methylphenidate helps RIGHT THE NEXT DAY?????? I thought it causes an increase in hyperactivity first before the beneficial effects show. or do i have it wrong?

when u give the drug(methyphenidate,D-amphetamine)--if they speed up(more hyperactive) then its not ADHD--they are simply hyperactive kidds and if they slow down they have got ADHD.

ohhhhhh....right, goljan says so...there is no other plausible choice except for E, but still had my doubts that it would take effect on day 1. thanks Sarim.
