englewood- one of those many hospitals in US which are the place where private practitioners admit their patients, and make you take care of them for a minimal salary and the pretence of a residency. the full time attendings have almost no patient of their own, while the private attendings have no time to teach. so you are the clerk who handles the patient in the hospital while the private practitioners levy a hefty sum. IM residents are like the general house officers in our country, who admits DKA to appendicitis, and then call in the big guys. crap.

its like working in a private hospital in asia, where most of us have come from

st barnabas- no info in frieda, or other review sites, but supposed to be bigger, hence supposedly better, as it has other residency programs too. that means there should be some teaching learning going on there.

amazing thing is many private hospitals like this dont have any daily rounds on the patients at all- private attendings come at their own time, see their patients, and then order you over the phone the next day to fill out this form, and carry out that chore. you are their errand boy.

still its states, and that 150k after residency is mouth watering, isnt it.
