ARGATROBAN.........why do they have to name drugs in this way.....i feel nauseous just trying to pronounce it.....why could the company not call it superwarf or neowarf or something?????
hhhh phew had to let it out...

since I typed this here...lemme tell few points
1.if a DVT case on Heparin+warf gets HIT,low platelet=40,000---->best step is stop both n use the above tounge twister........its name will confuse the platelets and they will not go bust....

you check PTT w/ goal of 1.5-2 X the PTT baseline then bridge to Warfarin w/ INR goal and stop Argatroban once the Platelet level is above 50 K
