CCS: do you get recommendations after consult? - hlaksji

i never, they just say to order whatever necessary procedures you want. is this because i am not doing it in right way, or because they dont give recommendations?

recommendations only once u have have got results of necessary investgtions...

yes, i did. i ordered ultrasound for acute cholecystitis, results came back positive. then i ordered surgery consult. they did not give any suggestions.

what recommendations do you mean? Them telling you to operate etc?
We never get specific recommendations. ordering consults--just for a "tick", when needed.
It's always the same----"blah blah, no specific recommendations, please proceed with whatever you think necessary" or something like that

the other q----when is it appropriate to wait until this useless recommendation comes and when---just go ahead with ordering the procedure.

has anyone who is using UW CCS found that they ever give recommendations for your consult. or is it just me?
