#1
How many years waiver shud we do on J1?

How bad are the J1 waiver jobs in general..?

Do you have enough opportunities if you end up doing a fellowships for J1waiver jobs..?

2 more days to go to submit the rol.. but looks like its getting more confusing.. any input will be appreciated.

I just read that every state can give only 30 J1 waiver jobs per year.. 50 states.. so only 1500 J1 waiver jobs every year... is this true?

well that question was being asked since earth was created. In short after all research i have done there seems to be no major disadvantages of one visa over another given the fact that green card processing on h1 visa takes 6 yrs these days. Each visa has it pros and cons. But the over all picture looks same.Sorry I am not able to give a detailed explanation as it would be just tooooo long.

That answer applies to you if u r Indian. But for some other countries the processing of green card takes as less as 2 yrs time.If u r are from one such country then H1b is clearly more beneficial.
And regardin waiver jobs u r right in the sense that jobs after residency in primary care r plenty but the number of jobs would decrease if u r a specialist. You might have to work in primary care setup if u dont get a specialist job and dont want to go to home country for 2 yrs.So its all individualistic decision.
