an emergent question, please help - pani1378

I ranked program X as the last one in my list. The program has sent me a very promising message (most probably they gave me a high rank). How probable is this: I do not match in rest of my list and by the time that it gets to this program in my list, the program is already full by the applicants who gave a higher rank to the program. So no more spot for me, although they gave me a high rank.

It doesn't matter if the other candidates ranked it higher than you. If the program has ranked you higher than the other candidates and you do not match to the preceding programs in your ROL, you will match there, provided the others before you in the program's list are matched to programs higher up than this program in their ROL. In short, it is how the programs rank you will eventually determine where you match!
