I think is alkylating agent
Cause Renal tox. and Bone marrow Supp.

cisplatin is a chemotherapy treatment to treat test..,bladder, ovarian cancer Know as platinum containing compouds or alkylating agents. Works by interefering w/t the growth of cancer cells.DO NOT give to patien with previos kidney or hearring problem /Cisplatin is what is called an "OTOTOXIC" drug/ and women if they bres tfeed also NO vaccinations during treatment - causes patient to be immuno- compromised . Impairs FErtilityPatient with renal disease can take another med - CArboplatin
