if match to prelim in PGY1 position this year...
do i need to match again for PGY2 next year?can I apply the PGY1 categorical position too?
Is there any difference between the pgy2 position in radiology to pgy1 position? according to the 2009 match result -- http://www.nrmp.org/data/resultsanddata2009.pdf

Yup , I am in the same boat . Got prelim/categorical 1 yr position. So for scramble advanced-- is it PGY2 or does it start from PGY 1.
Also what are the scramble chances for the advanced positions?? Thanks.

u can apply either PGY2 (like categorical IM)out of cycle or PGY2 (like neuro, ane, radio) through the match next year
