im a newly graduate,planning to appear in step 1 after 5 months. can u plz help me in suggesting books, study hours duration, and study schedule. im very afraid of this test.known to b toughest on earth........plz help me in making schedule and books. i will b thankful to u. also can any one plz tell me how much percentage is good enough to find a residency.

get started with kaplan lect notes, kaplan dvds, goljan patho rapid review, goljan audio n later on FA , uw qbank, kaplan qbank.
im letting u kno wat my schedule was
kaplan lect. notes 3x
kaplan dvds 1x
goljan patho 3x
fa 5x
uw qbank along with exp. 2x
i didn giv nbme but will recomend u cuz i heard alot

after u r done with it do as many times fa as u can
its not specific to giv same no. of reads as i did, its upto ur comfort level
try not to stressd so much as u r fresh grad so u dnt need to absorb alot as u already hav alot

welcome! actually I am an old grad graduated 28 years ago and took the exam last month and passed it with the score 236/99. I didn't find it the thoughest!
As you are a new grad and up-to-date I think you can start with UW and FA and don't need to review all texts. The best way is to master the test types by practice.

FA and UW are essential but never enough , you need to read , my advice is to take a diagnostic test from any website to find your week point and also you have to read goljian
