16 yr old with hand flapping,meager vocabulary and development disorder since birth plus macro orchidism...2 maternal uncles have mental retardation ...he has 4 sisters and parents appear healthy...how many of the sisters will have carrier state.

to my understanding if its trinucleotide expansion and macrorchidism ...points towrds fragile x syndrome...but then how can b the parents b healthy...its x linked dominant..kindly helppp

16 yr old boy is brought to the physician for a routine examination.he has a life long history of development delays and un usual movements like hand flapping ..he has meager vocabulary and macro orchidism.two maternal uncles have mental retardation.dna testing shows trinucleotide repeats .patient comes from a family of 4 daughters.on an average how many of their daughters are most likely b the carrier of gene mutation.
