Volunteer clinical research psychiatry training positions for foreign medical graduates interested in potential psychiatry residences and needing research -clinical experience. Clinical Research experience in psychopharmacology research at Manhattan Psychiatric Center, a New York state facility, affiliated with New York Univ. Medical School. Many committed FMG™s, who are seriously interested in psychiatry, have found our experience useful and valuable for them in applying for residency. We have had FMG™s who completedd our program get into psychiatry residencies across the country. One-year training commitment required. Full time ( 4-5-days/wk) and part -time ( 3 days/wk.) positions available. Good command of written and spoken English required and word-processor (msword or wordperfect) on computer skills required. These are NON-SALARIED POSITIONS at this time, but very uncertain possibility of small compensation later depending on whether further grant funds are received and you are US legal green card; we do not sponsor visas; we do not offer housing.
