homonomus hemianopia is due to occipital lobe problem so affected by posterior cerebral artery

yeah, so MCA spans temporal lobe, where only a part of loop goes, loop that arises out of visua radiations caled meyer s loop, so if MCA is involved, it shud cause quadrantanopsia....right??

You can have what so called "Pie in the sky " or Pie in the Floor depending wchich loop is affected ...for MCA the most important things is theat the arms are >affected than the legs and that is how you distinguish from ACA..

A lesion in the temporal lobe(supplied by mca) that results in damage to Meyer's loop causes a characteristic loss of vision in a superior quadrant (quadrantanopia.)

MCA involvement can affect either optic track causing contralateral homonymous hemianopia or it may affect lateral fibers of optic radiation in temporal lobe causing contralateral supeior quadrantanopia (pie in the sky).
