A pt with varicose veins and related ulcers....whats next step in treatment?

1.compression stocking
2.surgical stripping of varicose veins
3.something else

even with ulcer can we use compression stockings?

usually start with conservative measurement like compressive stocking -----if fail then only surg..

surgery is done mainly for cosmetic reason / failure of conservative treatment..

if surgery , it is not going to be stripping, its going to subfacial ligation with direct attacks, provided the deep system is patent and thrombosed
