I took nbme today and got 340 only.
I postponed exam till Jul 3 2010.
I checked my answers with offline qs and answers and came out 105/180 correct.
What do u advise for me to boost my score
I m doing ok when I read MTB or qbanks got 55 and 60 cumulative on UW and Kaplan.
So dont know.
I did bad in many parts including surgery, musculoskeletal, Infectious.

hi Fellow I think that is not that bad go for exam u will be fine.

Work hard on the following things now:-
(a) Weak areas in NBME
(b) CCS cases (*)
© revise MTB again
(d) If possible read your weak areas from PR and/or archer notes also.

yea I know someone with nbme score of 280..postponed exam by 3 wks...revised notes and ccs and passed with 85.
so don't think much about nbme now...just work hard on weak areas now.

nbme is unpredictable, but it helps us to prepare well in weak areas.
i am adding with harry's suggestion --
do "incorrect ques" from q bank
when today i have started again uw, i found myself confused for many ques though it's not my 1st time.
good luck for prep and exam.

I agree with meti , do the incorrect questions that are your weakness.
Finishing UW or kaplan q-bank is not the Goal.
Knowing the concepts which are frequently tested in the exam is important.
Some people start studying step 2 material , that is of no use.
Step 3 is exam related to primary care and questions related to primary care .
Explanations of UW are important.
