reserve a LOR slot....what is this and when - ckprep2k10

hello i have my LORS, but im trying to figure out what this lOR slot request is for...why do we need to do that..and when do we do it. do the LOR have to reach the ecfgm before or after. when exactly do we get our slots.

can someone please help me....

you have to reserve slot in aamc eras, for each LoR you send to ecfmg/eras office.
people in ecfmg will scan your LoR and will send it to the aamc eras people, they will look if you have requested that lor to be uploaded by reserving a slot for it, they will upload it to your application document part; this way you will be able to assign the Lor's to the programs you are applying too
