of course you have got a chance, everyone has a chance, have you done any residency in pathology? and my advice to everyone who is applying in pathology to book themselves for step 3 as this is a rising criteria issue for acceptance of IMG's in pathology programs, because lots of pathologists tend to fail in step 3 for obvious reasons as they are a little far from clinical practice, I took step 3 test 1.5 month ago, it was not hard but also it is not easy, its a higher level than step 1 and 2 and the chances to score in 90's is a bit hard, but they dont look much for the grade concerning step 3, they look more into passing it and being done with it, so if you are planning for interviews this year, its better to book for step 3 test, that is my advice for all

Wishing everyone and myself the best of luck, hope everyone will get matched

hey pathology_guy!

re ur recent post, am actually about to take my step 3 this first week of nov..
is that a good thing? how many weeks does it take for the results to become available?
do you think it can still help me fetch some invites if i have the results around
early december? or that's a bit too late?
lastly, what are the materials you used? is UWorld enough for the CCS?

sorry for the pouring questions! hope you don't mind.. Smile

thanks in advance!
