Hi Guys,
I would like to start a new thread for all researcher IMGs applying to IM this year. Would like to get everyone's response - interviews / rejections / experiences etc.
I would request everyone who wants to contribute to please post their creds in the post to give others a good idea on whats going on. I have been a silent observer for too long, just wanna give back and keep in touch with folks on this forum. We can do creds by scores,Year of graduation, Advanced degree, USCE/Observership, US LORs, Publication record, Programs Application numbers, Rejections, Interviews etc
My creds -
Scores - 99/237 88/213 Pass 1st attempts all
Year of Graduation 2000
Advanced Degree - Masters' Biomedical Sciences
USCE/Obs - 6 months Observership at Univ Hospital
LORS - 3 US LORs
Publications - 13 US publications
Programs applied to IM - 137
Rejections so far - 2 (Guthrie, Creighton)
Interviews none
(so far but I am hopeful, one LOR left to be scanned)
Lets all get together and beat down this monster of Residency and get on with our lives.
