Harrisons self-assessment. Helpful? - hanna123
#1
Any body has any views about this resource as useful for step3?
Have free access to this, as opposed to having to buy UW/Kaplan, etc.

Harrison's self assessment is meant for internal medicine boards apparently..so questions though tough will help in step 3...

But I wouldn't skip usmleworld for anything...For Step 3 i'd rather do world world and more worldSmile

Kaplan-you can afford to give a miss given your astronomical step 2 ck score!

It will definitely be helpful but it is not a pre-req

It will definitely be helpful but it is not a pre-req for getting a 99 in Step3.
KAP step 2 lecture notes, UW QBank, UW CCS, Swanson alone are enough.

Funnily enough, some of the questions from the book can be found word for word in UW,step 2 and step 3,Smile

if you have time browse through swanson's family practice review , it's a good one for step 3.

kaplan qbank better than uw for this particular step and for ccs uw was better.

P.N: this is my personal opinion and i am not advertising for any of these.

Don't abuse me if you feel it's incorrect. At least that's what worked for me.

thanks everyone. Just did a few CVS and hemeonc Qs till now, and the explanations are pretty basic though the Qs would probably be easier for those who've done atleast an intern year.
