it is last of of october & 2 months since most of us have applied.
so i think more than 90% of iv are already sent & about half of them are already filled.
there are slight loop holes for remaining 10%
- not good candidates
- not enough candidates
- mistakes by pc
- candidates not show up (travel problem/clash iv/cancelled iv/prematched)
- program feels to take more iv for making sure they don't left with unfilled positions
- programs waiting for mspe
- economic issues, political issues
- connections/networking positions
so people who did have no luck yet, go for it try
- explainaing your situation to programs
- contact every doctor you know for networking
- meet program in person
- move to location with high density programs
- stay close to you phone (don't leave any chanse)
- do not make any plans of going out
- try observership or any other way to get into program/university
in short think & proceed with any way you can & before coming to an absolute end, fight your war your own way
