Neuro Post IV impression - prep4usmle99

Lets post our impression about program.....It will help us if we missed asking/knowing something on IV day..and will also help in ranking...

Let me start this off.....

UMDNJ/RWj camden:

residents- were ok..friendly...new program so hv to work hard....
program director: very friendly...supportive.....working hard to improve program..listen to residents..said they might also hv neuro+psych combined program...but they have lost affilation with UMDNJ ...so from next batch they will have affilation with with Rowen university...so it will be still university...and told us they will have good faculty coming...

faculty: I interv'ed with 3 faculty...one was really good....2 others were ok....seems they like AMG not IMGs..
didactics: not so good...residents told us from next they will hv good didactics...

research: ok...

hospital: very nice, clean with good facilities..nice stroke ICU...

Location: worst..highest crime rate...but hosital is safe..

overall ok program ..it's advanced
