Waiting list for what? Did you have an interview?
I assume you mean a waiting list to interview. If that is the case, until you get the invitation to interview your chances of matching are 0%. Schools only rank candidates that they interview first.

If you are done with your interview then I am not sure what waiting list you mean. After the interview everyone is on the waiting list. Your chances of matching are unknown, only the school knows how they will rank you.

Waiting list means if someone cancelled an IV and if u are next on the list the get the IV chance!

dccusmle- have an IV because someone cancelled doesnt mean they will not ranked u!! My friend matched last year and he was an IV cancellation at Montefiore NY!

of course you are right
I guess what I ment to say was that if you are JUST on the waiting list and don't get an invitation for an interview then your chances are 0%.
If you are on the waiting list, then get an invitatino to interview then, of course, your chances are just as good as everyone else.
