Do we still need to counsel the pt even if he is not a smoker or drinker or drug user?

UW counsel everything. What do we do in the real exam? Thank you.

use yr common sense ..if pt is not smoking and still you counsel then he will say but dr i am not smoking.

Yes. But UW counsel everything pt on smoking, EOH, drug no matter whether he does them or not.

I think you are right. If the pt has no such hobbies, why counsel? prevention in case he will do it in the future? Smile

I still don't agree with the RAS question of yours. I hope you looked at my opinion. renal parenchymal disease is the most common cause of secondary HTN.
