You can prepare for the Scramble. Hopefully you have a good Step 3 score and Lots of luck!!! The scramble is a mess and if I'm correct, they will be getting rid of the Faxing within a few years. Must programs use Eras now, as it allow them to filter the candidates and not have to verify the exam scores.

if you sent all your applications very early in Sept. and haven't heard by now, then things probably aren't looking up then..best case scenario is that maybe one of your apps is "on hold".....get prepared for Scramble if you're interested, for what it's worth. Cheers!

thanks guys. all your time and sincere answer.
i applied mid october. just 2 weeks ago got my ecfmg certificate. i am green card holder. didn't take step 3. is there any hope before scramble?

what did you apply for? fm im peds etcc?
What did you get on ure steps?

i dont know, most programs i guess end their iv's at the end of jan..

But i applied in november.. and I got iv's sometimes its just luck i suppose..

not sure of ure situation..s core wise, and program wise, and when u grad
so no idea

suck it up man, it's over. And you're not getting anything in the scramble...period. Too tough for foreigners. Gear up for next year...though I doubt you'll even match then.
