Is FMG Portal a reliable organisation for obsis n externs..?
They are charging like 350- 400 USD per week for externships.
wanted to know if anyone has any idea regarding it.

@sedar-why do you say that? Do you have experience with them?
I used them and was satisfied. They did exactly what they said they would.

@tess-like I said they did what they said they woiuld. If you are expecting more than what they offer then you will be disappointed.
They offered me a three month externship at a solo private practice and that is what I got. They do not offer externship in a Hospital or University associated medical center. If this is what you want then look somewhere else.

But you also have to realise that most residency want extership in a hospital and do not look highly on externship in a small clinic. But it is better that nothing.

I don't thing so. Most community based hospital or univeristy hospital have their own system for getting externs and observership they don't need to go through a third party such as FMG Portal or FMG America. Sites like FMG Prtal or FMG America will usually deal with private clinic.
I don't have first hand knowledge, but I would be very wary of any site that promice an externship at community based hospital or univeristy hospital.

@dcc usmle - i am a female from india. i ve no doctor contacts in US. hence till now i dont have any observership options in hand. i too heard abt fmg portal. is it a true accredited organisation? were you satisfied? did they arrange dates and place as you asked? what abt stay?

personally I lost my 500$ with those people they are a bunch of thief's !!!!!!!!
