My interest is surgery,I had my CV 3 years of medicine and 6 months of surgery from my home country,I got 4 interviews in medicine,I don't know if I match this year or not,but is it possible that I can change to surgery if I match in medicine this year.or just accept the situation..or wait for the next year which will be more difficult for me to match???? any body can help me let me know please.

try and get matched with medicine first, then next year you apply for surgery if you don't get matched. if you do get matched then complete medicne first

so given our friend's situation, will it be difficult the following year to apply for surgery...?

will the whole doing-pgy1-in-IM-but-applying-for-surgery-still work against the applicant ??
