does ranking in reverse order help if ...... - wizdoc

if there are few interviews and ... like 3 interviews and if all programs rank you low..

i know what it means.. but.. do you think that .. after carefully studying the NRMP algorithm, ranking programs with first as highest chance , in a less competitive program mean that you are less likely to removed from tentative match throughout?

i know the risks involved.. but .. do you think it assures that you match somewhere rather than if you use the rank according to usual method?

After carefully studying the NRMP algorithm if programs rank us low then no matter what Houdini act we do we won't match unless many applicants above us match elsewhere.

you have to rank programs in order of your preference.
I do not understand what you mean by "after carefully studying the NRMP algorithm", you are going to be removed any way if you are not ranked high enough to match in a program.
