congratulations if you have passed step 3. that doesn't mean you can practice in the states lol that only means that you have cleared your usmle step 3. to practice in the states you have to go through training called residency. so you have to apply and get matched to these residency to start you residency training

that H1b visa will be processed by the hospital residency program, i.e. your step 3 is useful for immigration since having it means that you are eligible for H1b visa lol so no residency program means no visa for residency training and hence no practice in the usa

qwery, "training called residency??", come on !!! lol .... I was planning to practice neurosurgery right away. Now I have to do residency first ..... what a disappointment
