For my application,, it would be hard to tell, but i would say yes it helped to fetch more ivs...especially programs in east cost..

yes agree with deranged,, first attempt is must for fetching more ivs... if its an attempt, it can do worse..

not much. it only hels if you've not scred high on the previous steps. so programs are afraid you might not pass this one. of course it's better to ace it than to just pass it. however.... not a strong booster anyway.
