Seriously I have not read even one post about IMG matched to surgery, is that hard? if you matched please post your crdential

SO far what I have heard is that a few people (about 4) matched to prelim Surg from my school, we go to a carib school. I will be in NY But I haven't heard about anyone who matched categorical, I think that with the new time restrictions more AMGs went into surgery since the lifestyle is supposed to get better But that's just my opinion.

friends did, to categorical university programs!!! IMGs and needed visas. They had 99s, and did surgery clinical research for 2yrs and had tons of publications, plus great networking that really helped them.
They were able to use the clinical research as USCE, as they had no actual surgery experience in the US. They also finished med schl about 2-3yrs ago.
It can be done!
