If RhoGAM is IgG then why it does not kill the baby?? We know that IgG cross the placenta.

The quantity of Rhogam given is too small, to cause any serious damage to the fetus.

I am not sure, but i think this topic was discussed before in the forum & somebody explained that first we do a quantitave test to check whether we have any mixing of maternal & fetal bloods. which is followed by the quantitative BK test, to calculated the dose to be given.

The Rhogam which is routinely given at 28 weeks is microRhogam, which is again having dec. amount.

If somebody knows precisely plz add....
