Match 2012 : what's the schedule? - dropd

Hey all,

I'm an IMG from France, taking Step 2 CK in june, and CS in august. I want to apply for the 2012 match. What do I need to do exactly?
Apply to NRMP ?
Do I need to apply to ERAS? If so, when ?

buying eras token for next season will start at 15 june...application to nrmp is later ...15 august....

So the whole process of sending ERAS your dean letter, letters of recommendation, etc... It's not until june?


Also, on the NRMP website, they say that ECFMG is the equivalent to ERAS, for IMG. So we still have to register with ERAS ?

yes we register with eras....as i said you have to buy the eras toke. read about it on ecfmg website. then you will get id and set a password and then you can submitt your lor and everything...and yes we have to wait till june.

till then work on your cv and statement of purpose...and any steps if you haven't done with them

also make a list of programs you want to apply...know the application criteria...check their websites...
