Hi,
I applied for J2 ead renewal but my status is still showing initial review. I applied on 14th april. anybody has got approval for j2 ead. i'm worried now.
anyone in same boat....

Hey, they usually take 60 days for the process.I hope u will get it sometime btw 14th-18th June.

do you know they also need biometric appointment for j2 ead. I applied to vermont center. so you said 60days for vermont or some other centers..

Me too in the same boat. My application reached USCIS California center on april 14th. Even my status is the same, initial review..feeling anxious and worried..hope we get it soon...

No, they usually don't need biometric anymore, but they follow 60 days deadline.I applied on April 4th for renewal to Vermont service center and got it today.Hope you get sooner or you can call them to expedite but they will require proof for it and sometime it may delay the process.
