does anyone have a really good shortened formula for calculating the Aa gradient, I purchased this book called medical abacus a review of medical formulas and how to use them, unfortunately there are so many formulas that are missing, also I think that one should simplify these formulas, for instance if the value is .693 or something one should just round it to a 1 to make life simpler, I don't think the value would change that much but I might be very wrong..
if anyone has a really nice short complied list of needed formulas from Aa gradient to calculating the anion gap to correcting albumin etc or fluid losses I'd be so appreciative
thanks
