your credentials are good.try giving step 3 asap...if possible before sept 1st.
make a list of img friendly hospital..may be around 120 hospitals.

try to join somewhere as a research voulunteer..coz all other aspects of your profile look pretty neat except research.

work well over your personal statement.it shud be honest and not a cliched one.

apply on time!MOST IMPORTANT!
get all your LORS reach eras by august middle coz it takes 2 weeks to get them uploaded.

GOOD LUCK!

If I was your I would target IM and any of the difficult specialties like radiology or anesthesiology as you have good chances. I would advice you to get help of professionals in appplication strategy as applicantgude. Apply widely especially to university hospitals and those who take GC holders mainly.

Euphoria is right...you can aim more than IM... Try to get involved in some good research program may be a big name and get 1-2 good research LORs

But for IM

1) Apply Widely and Wisely

2) Personal Statement Should be free flowing, flawless and coherent

3) No Gaps in CV

4) CV and PS should go in harmony

5) APPLY ON SEPTEMBERR THE 1st

6) Get ERAS token on 22nd june and send LORs without delay

7) work on your interview skills

8) Present yourself well

odds are in your favor

Good luck
