Cardiac enzymes in pericarditis - gainer84

In UW CCS....a case of pericarditis had a raised CK with normal Troponin ---- Is it always so in pericarditis or cardiac enzymes can have troponin elevated and CK normal, or all cardiac enzymes can be normal in pericarditis??????????

I dont think pericarditis should have elevated enzymes............

Elevated cardiac enzymes is not a feature of pericarditis....CK MB can be elevated because of myocardial which is adjacent to pericardium getting affected...........
